Design Story

This design catches attention because the word that’s visible from a distance is POOR. But when you get closer you see that there’s more to it than what you saw initially.

It’s a reflection of how we often navigate through the world. Judging from a distance, not realizing that it’s when we remove the distance between us and other people, that we learn who they really are.

It’s also a reflection of how Jesus meets us. There is no distance between us and Him. He knows our hearts and minds.

To be Poor in Spirit is to be humble enough to recognize our need for God. It’s that posture that allows us to experience His grace, the greatest sacrifice, and selfless love, since the beginning of time.
